Why "Glideship"?
Glide from idea to shipped. A name that says what the product does.
To glide is to move without effort. To ship is to put finished work in front of the people who need it.
The software industry builds tools to make life better, yet the process of building them consumes our lives: ceremonies, status updates and busywork that were meant to help but became the work itself.
Glideship exists because AI should give people their time back. The agents carry the routine steps (specs, estimates, reviews, test plans), so work glides from idea to shipped, and the people who started it spend their time on the decisions that matter.
AI saves hours. Friction takes them back.
Developers save real time with AI tools. They also lose hours every week to how their organisation works. The time saved only counts if the process around the work gets lighter too.
